The Water Molecule - Structure and Properties

Martin W. Nørgaard

The Water Molecule is a study of several important chemical concepts based on the components and structure of the water molecule. The reader is lead to examine the structure of atoms, the periodic table, bonds between the molecules, electronegativity and spatial structure. The book is based on a simple experiment that the reader carries out. Videos are included to help visualise important concepts as well as tasks that will enable the reader to work with the concepts. The book is designed to be used at several levels of science teaching in secondary schools (grades 6 – 10 in USA), upper secondary or high school, as well as further education colleges and adult education centres.
